Current Position and Past Experience
Since 2009, Jonathan Rothwell has been an Associate Fellow with The Brookings Institution, where he develops innovative approaches to measuring and analyzing economic phenomena. Prior to this, Rothwell spent two years as a Senior Research Analyst at Haver Analytics and interned with the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Relations.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Rothwell earned his BS in Psychology from Penn State University in 2002. In 2006, he earned his MA in Economics from The New School University. In 2009, he earned his PhD from Princeton University in Public Affairs. In addition to Brookings reports, he publishes research in a number of peer-reviewed social science journals, and his work is frequently profiled in popular media.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Rothwell has been a Big Brother with the Big Brothers-Big Sisters of the National Capital Area since 2010.
