Current Position and Past Experience
Jim Franklin is currently Director of Academic Programs in the College of Business at Western Governors University and has been in this position since 2018. He is also Associate Dean at WGU. Prior, he was Director of the Master in Professional Accounting Program at the University of Texas at Austin. He was also an agent for the Internal Revenue Service for the United States Department of the Treasury.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Franklin holds a master’s in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. He also has a bachelor of science in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
