Current Position and Past Experience
Jason Pickavance is currently Provost for Academic Affairs at Salt Lake Community College and has been with the institution since 2003. He began his career at SLCC as an instructor of English before becoming Interim Director of the Center for Innovation. Some of his role others at SLCC include Director of Faculty Development and Educational Initiatives and Associate Provost of Academic Operations.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Pickavance holds a doctor of philosophy in American Studies from the University of Utah and an associate of arts in English Literature from Green River College. He also has a masters and bachelor of arts in English Language and Literature from Western Washington University.
