Current Position and Past Experience
Janelle Elias is currently Vice President of Strategy and Advancement at Rio Salado College and has been with the institution since 2016. Some of her previous roles include Interim Vice President of Academic Affairs, Associate Dean of Institutional Integrity, Dean of Institutional Effectiveness and Innovation, as well as Vice President of Strategy and Advancement. Prior, she was at the University of Phoenix for 14 years. Some of her roles there include Director of Accreditation and Institutional Effectiveness and Assistant Dean of the College of Information Systems and Technology.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Elias holds a master of education in adult education and distance learning from the University of Phoenix. She also has an associate of arts in education from Chandler/Gilbert Community College and a bachelor of arts in English literature from Georgia Southern University.
