Current Position and Past Experience
Isabelle Piette is currently responsible for program development and innovation and a lecturer at University of Montreal, a position she has held since 2014. From 2006 to 2014, she was a lecturer and research assistant at HEC Montreal, specializing in strategy.
From 2004 to 2001, she was an economic development advisor at the Ministère de l'Économie et de l'Innovation, where she led the development of an economic intelligence system and participated in several legislative reforms. Prior to that, she began her career as a strategic planning and development analyst at Groupe Collège Lasalle.

Piette holds a Master of Management from HEC Montreal. She also has a Master of Arts in Literature from UQAM. Her work was recognized with an award for excellence in pedagogical innovation by the University of Montreal in 2020. In 2014, she received the Best Paper Award from the Academy of Management.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
Piette is passionate about food and literature. She also enjoys hiking and cross-country skiing. She often visits the Adirondacks, but prefers the Rockies and the Alps.
