Current Position and Past Experience
Irma Becerra is currently President of Marymount University and has been in this position since 2018. Prior, she was Provost and Chief Academic Officer at St. Thomas University for three years. She had also spent 16 years at Florida International University, serving as a professor, Vice Provost for Academic Affairs and Vice President for Engagement.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Becerra holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering from Florida International University. She also has a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Miami.
