Current Position and Past Experience
Dr. Howard Bunsis currently serves as Ex Officio Chair of the American Association of University Professors (AAUP)-Collective Bargaining Congress (CBC).

Bunsis teaches graduate accounting and CPA courses at Eastern Michigan University’s College of Business. Bunsis also has several years of experience as an Attorney and has spoken at many conferences and talks particularly about the relation between accounting numbers and stock prices. Bunsis also serves on the Departments Curriculum and Personnel Committee and as EMU’s NCAA Faculty Representative.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Bunsis earned his B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania and his J.D. from Fordham Law School. Bunsis earned his M.B.A and his Ph.D from the University of Chicago.

In 2002, Bunsis was awarded the EMU’s Distinguished Faculty Teaching Award.
