Current Position and Past Experience
Heather Douglass is the Director of Workforce Communications for the Maine Community College System (MCCS). With the launch of the Harold Alfond Center for the Advancement of Maine’s Workforce, and a passion for entrepreneurial brand building, Heather joined the team in 2022 and oversees strategy and content development for the Harold Alfond Center’s marketing, advertising, and communications.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Douglass has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and served in business development and marketing leadership roles in global beverage and biotechnology firms before discovering her adoration for workforce development within the nonprofit sector.
