Current Position and Past Experience
Dr. Grady Batchelor currently serves as the Associate Vice President of the Center for Teaching and Learning at the American Public University System. Concurrently, Dr. Batchelor is President of Grady Batchelor and Associates Inc. He also serves as Vice President of the
International Coach Federation Gulf Coast Chapter.
Prior to stepping into his current position, Dr. Batchelor was the Director of Faculty for the APUS Schools of Health Sciences and Business. For more than a decade, Dr. Batchelor served as the President of a regional economic development authority. Dr. Batchelor also joined the Interstate 22 Development Commission and the Northwest Alabama Workforce Development Council as Chairman. Dr. Batchelor served as a university executive overseeing Distance Learning and as a Captain in the Winston County Sheriff’s Office.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Dr. Batchelor earned two AAS degrees from the Community College of the Air Force, in Intelligence, Imagery Analysis, Instructor Technology and Military Science. Dr. Batchelor earned his BS in Management of Human Resources from Bellevue University and an MBA from Trident University. Dr. Batchelor then earned his MA in Management from Bellevue University and his DMgt from Colorado Technical University.
Dr. Batchelor is a Certified Management Consultant through the Institute of Management Consultants USA and a Certified Manager through the Institute of Certified Professional Managers.
He also earned a Strategic Management Certificate from DePaul University and a Certificate for Strategic Foresight from the University of Houston.
