Gabrielle Martinez joined Western Governors University in 2006 as a Transcript Evaluator and is currently the University Registrar and Director of Academic Records & Credentials. Previously, she served as Associate Registrar, Operations and Logistics, and Assistant Registrar. She has nearly 30 years of experience in higher education and student records management, beginning her career as a work-study student at Salt Lake Community College. Since joining WGU, she has served in various leadership roles focused on academic integrity, student outcomes and innovative records practices.

Martinez holds a Master of Science in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from University of Utah.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
A true foodie at heart, Martinez loves discovering new cookbooks and restaurants. She also loves to get out in nature, hiking scenic trails, forest bathing or wandering through peaceful gardens.
