Current Position and Past Experience
Frances Turcott has held several positions at Anne Arundel Community College including Director of Public Relations and Marketing, Interim Dean of Learning Advancement and the Virtual Campus, and is currently Director of Special Projects working with adult students and involved in strategic planning. Prior to working at AACC, she was Director of Community Relations at Harford Community College. She started her community college career in Maryland at Catonsville Community College in the registrar’s office before becoming the Director of Marketing.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Turcott holds a B.S. in Foreign Language Education and an M.S. in Educational Psychology from the University of Tennessee. She earned a certificate as a prior learning assessor from CAEL through DePaul University in 2011.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Turcott spends most of her weekends in the ceramics studio at the college and in nice weather she is cycling or working in her garden. She has served on several community boards working with developmentally disabled adults and advancing teen cycling.
