Emily Donnelli Sallee | Provost, Park University

Current Position and Past Experience
Emily Donnelli Sallee currently serves as Provost of Park University, where she is also a tenured Professor of English. Since joining Park University in 2004, Donnelli Sallee has held a variety of positions, including Vice Provost, Dean of Liberal Arts & Sciences, and Director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning. Prior to Park, she served as Assistant Director of the Writing Center at The University of Kansas.

Donnelli Sallee’s research focuses on faculty and instructional development across the disciplines. Her work has appeared in Teaching and Learning Inquiry, To Improve the Academy, and Across the Disciplines.

Education, Honors and Achievements 
Donnelli Sallee holds a Doctor of Philosophy in English and a Master of Arts in English from The University of Kansas. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and Secondary Education from William Jewell College.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Emily loves to read, cook and travel with her extended family. She lives in Kansas City, Missouri, with her husband and four children.
