Current Position and Past Experience
Ellen Peterson is the Library Director at the University of Hawaii, Maui College. She is the primary instruction librarian on campus and the information literacy representative on the college’s Student Learning Assessment Committee.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Ellen holds a Masters of Library and Information Science ( MLISc) from the University of Hawaii and a BA in English from the University of New Mexico.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Ellen is committed to building an appreciation for the performing arts on campus and in the community. She enjoys volunteering at her local community theater and organizes “Poetry Slams” for all ages.
