Current Position and Past Experience
Dee Kanejiya is currently the founder and CEO of Cognii, a leading provider of AI technology to the education and training industry. He has more than twenty years of experience in technology and business development in the areas of AI, Natural Language Processing, Virtual Assistants, and EdTech. Prior to starting Cognii, he worked at Nuance Communications and Vlingo Corporation building language models and virtual assistant technology for smartphones. He has also conducted research in language modeling and speech recognition technology at Carnegie Mellon University and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Kanejiya studied Master’s and PhD in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. He received a gold medal for the highest grade point performance across all graduate programs in Electrical Engineering. His doctoral research was focused on development of language models and intelligent tutoring systems using contextual vector representations of linguistic units. He also has a Bachelor degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Gujarat University.
