Current Position and Past Experience
Chrissy Holliday is currently Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Success at Cal Poly Humboldt and has been in the position since December 2022. Previously, she held several positions at Colorado State University Pueblo, including Senior System Liaison for Rural Education and Workforce Initiatives and Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs. Previously, she worked in higher education consulting, as well as the University of South Carolina system, and has extensive experience in strategic planning, marketing and communications.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Holliday holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education Leadership from Colorado State University. She also holds a Master of Science in Education, Enrollment Management from Capella University and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Campbell University. As a first generation college student herself, Holliday’s research interest is the college-going decision processes of first generation students, and she is passionate about providing college access, opportunity, and pathways to success for all students who want to experience first-hand the life-changing potential of higher education.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
Holliday serves as a board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the North Coast and is a member of Arcata Sunrise Rotary Club. She enjoys travel and exploring new locales with her husband and son, but also snuggling with the family’s two rescue boxers.
