Current Position and Past Experience
Charlie Collins is currently Deputy Executive for Workforce Training at Maine Community College System. Previously, he was Interim Associate Dean of Academics and Director of Workforce Development at Southern Maine Community College for three years. Collins works to connect stakeholders and industry partners that results in collaborative solutions. He as interest and experience in aligning higher education credentials to workforce development, professional education, and adult learning.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Collins has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a Political Science major from the University of New Hampshire, an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Thomas College. He also has a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Outside of work, Charlie enjoys hiking, biking, and exploring the wonderful state of Maine and beyond.
