Current Position and Past Experience
Brent Stubbs is currently Vice President for Economic Develop at Savannah Technical College and has been with the college since 2013. Some of his roles include Dean of Adult Education, Dean of General Studies and Learning Support, and Vice President for Adult Education. He is also an adjunct professor at Georgia Southern University. Prior, he was Coodinator of Adult Education and Department Chair at Lake Technical College.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Stubbs holds a Doctor of Education in Higher Education from Georgia Southern University, and a Masters of Business Administration from Brenau University. He also has a Bachelor of Arts in Theological Historical Studies and Government from Oral Roberts University. He is the son of a GED graduate and the first person to complete college in his family.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
Brent lives with his wife and seven children in Savannah, GA which occupies most of his personal time. He enjoys black coffee, woodworking, golf, guitar and volunteering his time at his parish. He is also on the board of Step Up Savannah, a non-profit focused on poverty reduction in the greater Savannah region.
