Current Position and Past Experience
Betty Vandenbosch is chancellor of Purdue University Global, where she oversees academics for approximately 29,000 students. She is an award-winning educator and academic, with more than 25 years of academic leadership, management, research, and teaching experience. Prior to this role, Vandenbosch was president of Kaplan University, which was acquired by Purdue in 2018. She was instrumental in the development of the University’s competency-based education model and oversaw the creation of more than 25 new programs. Previously, at Case Western Reserve University, Vandenbosch served as the associate dean of executive education and external relations at the Weatherhead School of Management.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Vandenbosch earned her PhD, MBA, and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Western University.
