Current Position and Past Experience
Arthur Thomas is currently Executive Director of Professional Acceleration and Microcredentials in the College of Professional Studies at Syracuse University. Some of his previous University roles include Associate Dean of Career Services and Experiential Learning, as well as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. Art has worked extensively in the private sector, focusing on information technology, project management and organizational change management.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Thomas holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Instructional Systems Design and Management, as well as a Master of Education in Curriculum Development and Instructional Media from the University of Buffalo. He also has a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, Geology and Computer Science from SUNY Brockport.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Art oversees the iConsult Collaborative, a university-wide student experiential learning consulting program, as well as Nanhi Kali Syracuse University, where students raise funds every year to send 50 underprivileged girls to school in India. He is also Board Chair of Gliding Stars, an adaptive ice skating program for people with disabilities.
