Current Position and Past Experience
Andrew Temte is currently President and Global Head of Corporate Learning at Kaplan North America. Previously, he was Chief Executive Officer of Kaplan Professional. Prior, he was President at Temte’s Financial Education and an instructor at the University of Iowa. A thought leader on issues related to workforce reskilling and upskilling, his 30+ year career includes teaching and executive leadership roles in both professional education and higher education institutions.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Temte holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration from the University of Iowa. He also earned a Master of Arts in Finance from The University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Wisconsin.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
Temte is the author of
Balancing Act: Teach Coach Mentor Inspire. An accomplished musician, he is leader of the rock band, The Remainders, which contributes to the community through “musical philanthropy.” He also is active in numerous fundraising events and committees in the La Crosse, WI, community, including The Boys and Girls Club of Greater La Crosse and The Hunger Task Force of La Crosse.
