Current Position and Past Experience
Amy Smith is currently Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design. Previously, she was Chief Learning Officer at StraighterLine. Prior, she was at Colorado State University Online, serving as Associate Provost and Senior Director. She was also Dean of the School of Education at Capella University. Smith was also at Concordia University Chicago for four years, serving as Department Chair and Associate Professor before working at the University of Phoenix as the Academic Dean of the College of Humanities.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Smith holds a Master of Arts in Public Administration and Supervision from National-Louis University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership from University of Denver. She also has a Master’s of Secondary Education from the University of Akron and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Colorado Boulder.
