Current Position and Past Experience
Dr. Amy Gaimaro serves as Dean of Innovative Delivery Methods for the Office of Academic Affairs and is a faculty member in the Department of Computer Studies at Molloy University. In her role as dean, she oversees the Office of Blended and Online Learning and provides leadership in faculty development related to quality course design, online student support, degree completion programming, microcredential development, and regulatory compliance for distance education. Dr. Gaimaro has over 25 years of higher education experience in computer studies, instructional technology, instructional design, accreditation, and online learning.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Dr. Gaimaro holds a Doctor of Business Administration in Information Systems from Argosy University, a Master of Arts in Education from Marian University, a Master of Science in Accounting from Long Island University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Hofstra University. She is a Quality Matters Certified Peer Reviewer, and she recently earned the Molloy University Quality Online Course Design Badge for the design of her computer information systems course.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
Amy enjoys baking with a particular interest in cookie and cake decorating. She also enjoys crocheting in her spare time. During the summer, when she is not at the office or teaching, she enjoys boating with her family.
