Current Position and Past Experience
Since 2012, Alexis Morton has served as the Program Manager of Faculty Training for the College of Online and Continuing Education at Southern New Hampshire University. Morton is also a Course Author and an Adjunct Faculty member at SNHU. Morton started at SNHU as an Academic Advisor in 2010. For 11 years, Morton served as the Center Director with the Sylvan Learning Center. Earlier in her career, Morton taught at Lawrence Public Schools.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Morton earned her BA in Linguistics and her M.Ed. in Elementary Education, Special Education and ESL from the University of New Hampshire. In 2017, Morton earned her Graduate Certificate in Social Media Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University.

Morton has presented at UB Tech 2014 and OLC Accelerate 2017 on varied approaches to faculty training & development.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Outside of work, Alexis enjoys bullet journaling and “Pinteresting.” Alexis also participates in adventure races, or as her son calls them, “muddy-leg races,” and volunteers as a citizen scientist through SciStarter.
