Sheila Murphy is currently a Higher Education Search Consultant with Witt/Kieffer. She has served in this position since 2010.
Prior to joining Witt/Kieffer, Murphy spent 25 years as a senior student affairs officer. She served as VP/Dean at Simmons College, Mount Holyoke College, Russell Sage College and Mount Ida College.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Murphy earned her BA at Stonehill College and completed her M.Ed. in Administration, Planning and Social Policy at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
Murphy serves on the Board of Trustees at Laboure College and at Wediko Children’s Services. She and her family are avid sports fans, and season ticket holders to the Red Sox and Celtics. She lives in Boston with her husband and twin sons.
