Sadia Anwar is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in continuing education, business development, and project management. At NorQuest College, she specializes in designing and delivering innovative training programs that meet workforce demands, collaborating with industry partners, government agencies, and community organizations. Her portfolio includes the development of Microcredential programs, corporate training solutions, and large-scale community impact projects focusing on upskilling and workforce development.
Previously, Sadia held leadership roles with Edmonton Public Schools, managing corporate training and adult continuing education programs, and with ASSIST Community Services Centre, where she coordinated federally funded settlement and public health initiatives.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Anwar holds a Master of Arts in English and Social Sciences from the University of the Punjab, is a Certified Corporate Trainer through the Learning Resources Network (LERN) in the USA, and has completed professional development training in a wide range of areas including Project Management, Innovation and Creativity, Team Leadership, Performance Measurement, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, and Strategic Thinking.
