Current Position and Past Experience
Patricia Brewer is currently Senior Contributing Faculty Member at Walden University and has been in this position since 2004. She has been a peer reviewer for over 25 years at the Higher Learning Commission where she also serves as a member of the Institutional Actions Council. Prior to her current role, she served in a number of administrative positions at colleges and universities in the Midwest, was Director of Accreditation and Academic Affair at Laureate Education, and was a tenured faculty member at Sinclair Community College.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Brewer holds a Doctor in Education in Adult and Continuing Education from Teachers College Columbia University, a Master of Arts in Adult and Community Education from Ball State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Education and Literature and Language from Wilmington College, where she received the Alumni Citation in Education award in 2004 .
