Dr. Joyce De Leo is a Consultant for the Academic Medicine and Health Sciences Practice at Witt/Kieffer.

Before she joined Witt/Kieffer, De Leo was the Vice President of Academic Affairs for Emmanuel College, Boston, MA. For over 20 years, De Leo worked at Dartmouth College and Dartmouth Medical School as Chair of Pharmacology/ Toxicology and as Director of the Neuroscience Center. De Leo is a published author and has written over 100 articles and book chapters in peer-reviewed publications.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Joyce De Leo earned her BS in Biology and Chemistry from the State University of New York at Albany and her PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. De Leo completed the Fullbright Scholar Program at Max Planck Institute for Psychiatry in Martinsried, Germany and postdoctoral training at Dartmouth Medical School and Harvard Medical School. In 2009, she received the Frederick W.L. Kerr Basic Science Research Award, from the American Pain Society for her research on the treatment of chronic pain.
