Dallas Kratzer | Senior Fellow, Kentucky's Council on Postsecondary Education
Current Position and Past Experience
Dallas Kratzer is currently a Senior Fellow for Student Success and Academic Excellence with the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education where his primary role is expanding credit for prior learning (CPL) concepts throughout academia and business in Kentucky. He is also a higher education consultant focused on helping colleges and universities establish or grow their CPL programs and has taught CPL courses at numerous schools across the country. Additionally, Kratzer is a faculty assessor with the American Council on Education (ACE) since 2017, assessing military workplace learning and official military training courses for the awarding of college-level credit. He’s also been a Training Consultant for the Council on Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL), is a CAEL Ambassador, serves on the Military Advisory Team, sharing his experiences in recognizing military workplace learning as college-level learning, and is a Senior Associate with the Kentucky Commission on Military Affairs (KCMA), where he advises the senior staff on educational and workforce initiatives related to the military community in Kentucky.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Kratzer holds a PhD in Educational Leadership and Organizational Development from the University of Louisville, a Master of Philosophy from the School of Advanced Air and Space Studies, a Master of Arts from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Science from Park University.
