Current Position and Past Experience
Amy Chester is currently Director of the Science Academy at the University of Maryland. Prior, she was Senior Assistant Dean at Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies, where she oversaw professional certificates and executive education. Chester has experience designing programs that meet market and workforce demands and for executive programs that provide learning solutions for global organizations. Previously, Amy managed 30+ non-credit certificate programs, oversaw evaluation and assessment, and provided enrollment and revenue analysis on non-credit programs. Prior to her work with Georgetown, Amy worked with undergraduate transfer students in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at the University of Maryland.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Chester earned her BA in Communication and MA in Higher Education Administration at the University of Maryland, College Park.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
In her time outside of work, Amy can be found running through Rock Creek Park in DC, exploring a new hiking trail, or enjoying a good book outside in the sunshine.
