Current Position and Past Experience
Heather Grierson is currently a graduate student in dual master’s degree program with the University of Aarhus, Danish School of Education and the Universidad de Deusto - MA Lifelong Learning: Policy and Management. Her personal focus is on higher education policy, and she expects to complete her degree in 2012.
In 2011, Grierson was an ESL Instructor at Capital Languages in Bilbao, Spain. Prior to this, Grierson served as a Program Assistant for Spanning the Gaps at Ryerson University’s Chang School of Continuing Education.
Education, Honors and Achievements
To support her completion of the MA Lifelong Learning program, Grierson was awarded the Arasmus Mundus Scholarship worth €48,000.
In 2010, Grierson earned her BSc (Hons.) in Psychology from the University of Toronto.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
Since 2006, Grierson has been a Disaster Management Volunteer with the Canadian Red Cross. She was also a volunteer geolocator with the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in 2011.
From 1998 – 2011, Grierson worked as a labour and delivery coach.
