Current Position and Past Experience
Ian Allen is currently Partner at NewPath Education. Prior to that, he was Executive Director of the College of Extended Learning at the University of New Brunswick (UNB) as well as the Chair of the Steering Committee for FOCUS Continuing Education at UNB. Additionally, he served as the Secretary-Treasurer of the Executive Committee for the Canadian Association for University Continuing Education (CAUCE) and was a member of the Board of Directors for the Canadian Virtual University (CVU/CUV). He was with the College of Extended Learning for over twenty years, holding previous leadership positions in Distance Education and Business Development.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Ian holds a Master of Education (Adult Education), Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) and Diploma in University Teaching (DUT) from UNB, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Dalhousie University.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
In his spare time Ian enjoys travelling, home renovations and spending time with family and close friends.
