Current Position and Past Experience
Dan Beare is currently seeking professional opportunities in the Toronto area while blogging for Alternatives Journal (Environment and Public Policy).

Beare last served as an Environment Officer with Bruce Power Ltd. He has held positions as an Environmental Technician with Invasive Species of the Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority, an Assistant Environmental Planner with Hydro One Networks Inc. and in Environmental Affairs and Environmental Protection - Transport Canada.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Beare earned his Masters of Applied Science (MASc) in Environmental Applied Science and Management from Ryerson University in 2012. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree with Honours (Hon. BES) in Environment and Business from the University of Waterloo in 2010. In the same year, Beare earned a Diploma in Environmental Assessment from the same institution.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Beare enjoys writing, playing ice hockey, exploring Toronto, drinking craft beer and camping. He has previously published in Municipal World, Environmental Science and Engineering, and co-authored a peer-reviewed journal article for Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management.
