Current Position and Past Experience
Allison Rossett is Professor Emerita of Educational Technology at San Diego State University and a consultant in learning, technology and results.

Rossett was editor of The ASTD E-Learning Handbook: Best Practices, Strategies, and Case Studies for an Emerging Field and the author of the American Management Association’s Blended Learning Opportunities.

She recently co-authored the book, Job Aids and Performance Support: Moving from Knowledge in the Classroom to Knowledge Everywhere; and in 2009 she authored a brand new edition of her award-winning First Things Fast: Handbook for Performance Analysis. Rossett is the author of four award-winning books, including Handbook of Job Aids; Beyond the Podium: Delivering Training and Performance to a Digital World.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Rossett was selected as a Distinguished Fellow of the Naval Education and Training Learning Strategies Consortium and is a member of the Training Magazine HRD Hall of Fame. While teaching at SDSU, she was honored with selection for just about every campus teaching award many times over.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
A native New Yorker, ping-pong champion in her youth and yo-yo'er in training, Rossett serves on the Advisory Board for The eLearning Guild, Chief Learning Officers and E-Learning for Kids. She has also been a member of the International Boards for ASTD and ISPI.
