Current Position and Past Experience
Steven Cooke is currently an assistant professor for the Hospitality Management program within the School of Business at American Military University. He teaches several classes related to general management and restaurant operations management.

Prior to teaching, Cooke worked in the restaurant industry for several widely known brands as well as served with the 14th Eng. BN of the Triple Nickel at Fort Lewis and Tikrit.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Cooke is working on his doctorate degree, with research focused on the experience of leadership development and the influence of choice or volition on performance.

In 2007, he earned his MBA in Management at the Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, concentrating in human resources.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Cooke also goes by Coach when not in the classroom and coaching soccer for the local community league and middle school. For several years, Coach Cooke has put together teams from the recreational league and participated in regional tournaments. Aside from soccer and family, Cooke enjoys traveling to a variety of locations and trying the local fare from Beijing to Lancaster, PA.
