Current Position and Past Experience
Since 2013, Danielle Brown has served as the Director of Professional Education and Outreach at Kansas State University, Salina. This followed two years as a Career Advisor and three years as an Academic Services coordinator at the same institution. She has also concurrently served as an Instructor at KSU since 2010. Brown has advised students as a Sam Walton Enactus Fellow since 2012. Her background also includes performance improvement and data management.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Brown earned her BA in Political Science in 2005 from Fort Hays State University. In 2009, she earned her MBA from Kansas Wesleyan University. She expects to earn her PhD in Student Affairs from Kansas State University in 2017. She has been recognized for her efforts in promoting an accessible campus and is a two time staff member of the year award winner.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
Brown is a Kansas native originally from Selden, KS. She and her husband, Eric, have two kids Mason and Candace. In her spare time Brown co-leads Read It, Lead It for the Salina Area Young Professionals and volunteers at her children’s school.
