Current Position and Past Experience
Brian Reed is currently Associate Vice Provost at the University of Montana. Prior, he served at Dartmouth College for nine years. He served as their Associate Dean for Student Academic Support Services, Dean of Undergraduate Students, and Associate Director for Residential Education. He was also doctoral course faculty at New England College for three years.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Reed holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education from the University of Virginia. He also has a Master of Arts in Higher Education from Appalachian State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Berea College.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Brian is an avid trout angler, hiker, skier, and lover of all things outdoors. When not at work or adventuring, Brian brokers the peace between his two cats, Matilda and Satchel.
