Current Position and Past Experience
Rowena Harper is the Head of Language and Literacy in the Learning and Teaching Unit at the University of South Australia.

Prior to that she was the Director of the Academic Skills Centre at the University of Canberra. She has taught in a range of university programs in the areas of Media Studies, Arts and Humanities, and has convened courses in Foundation Studies.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Harper earned her BA (Hons) from Adelaide University and her PhD in English from the same institution. She has also earned a Graduate Certificate in Education.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Harper serves as the Vice President of the Association for Academic Language and Learning.
