Rod Lastra is currently Associate Dean (academic) and Chair of the Program Review Commitee at Extended Education as well as Acting Associate Area Director of Access Programs, University of Manitoba.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Lastra holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Science (Biological Science) from the University of Manitoba. In 2021 he earned a Certificate in Academic Leadership from Dalhousie University.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
He enjoys collecting vintage guitars, cooking, and nature.
