Current Position and Past Experience
Dr. Matthew Hubbs is currently Dean of Academic Operations and the Accreditation Liaison Officer at Westcliff University. He oversees the day-to-day operations that support the colleges, faculty, and curriculum of Westcliff. As Accreditation Liaison Officer, Dr. Hubbs is responsible for the preparation and submission of reports to the University’s institutional accreditor, WSCUC. He also leads the University’s strategic planning process and other special initiatives, including the University’s acquisition of Western State College of Law in 2019-20 and the University’s response to COVID-19 in 2020-21. He has previously served as a campus and college dean for other WSCUC-accredited institutions and has been teaching psychology, counseling, and human development courses since 2008.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Hubbs holds a Doctor of Education in counseling psychology from Agrosy University. He also has a Master of Science in counseling from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of psychology from Iowa State University.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
As a father of three, Dr. Hubbs spends most of his free time with his family and pets.
