Current Position and Past Experience
Leslie Worrell Christianson is currently Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs and Strategic Initiatives at Marywood University and has been in an administrative role at the University since 2018. Previously, she was the User Services & Copyright Librarian, Associate Professor before stepping into the role of Assistant Provost and then Associate Provost at Marywood University. Prior, she was a Reference & Instruction Librarian at Duquesne University.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Christianson holds a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from The Catholic University of America and a Bachelor of Arts in Art Studio and Art History from Notre Dame University of Maryland University. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Philosophy in Strategic Leadership and Administrative Studies at Marywood University (May 2026).

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Christianson enjoys hiking, drawing, visiting art museums and spending time with her two young adult sons.
