Current Position and Past Experience
Kristin Mulligan is currently the Director of Online Education at University of Alberta and has been in the role since August 2022. Previously, she was Interim Director of PowerED, a microcredential, certificate, and digital learning platform at Athabasca University. Mulligan began working for Athabasca in 2008, starting as the coordinator for partnerships and grouped study. She was a student advisor at the University of Lethbridge and a student recruiter at NorQuest College prior to her role with PowerED.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Kristin Mulligan earned an MBA from Athbasca University in 2016 and a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Lethbridge in 2006.
