Current Position and Past Experience
Julia Ivy is currently the Faculty Director of the Masters in International Management and Executive Professor of Strategy and International Business at Northeastern University. Prior she served for four years as a Senior Fellow in the Master of Science in Leadership at Northeastern. Ivy also taught MS in Global Leadership at Swinburne University of Technology, MS in Leadership in Vietnam International University, and International MBA in International Institute of Business (Ukraine)

Ivy is a series editor for SAGE Business Case Collection.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Ivy holds two Ph.Ds. Her first Ph.D. is in Psychology (Developmental & Social Psychology) from Maxim Tank Belarus State Pedagogical University. Her second Ph.D. is in Management (Strategy, Entrepreneurship, & Innovation) from Lancaster University, UK.

Ivy has awards from Academy of Management, Western Academy of Management, Emerald, and others – all related to her research and mentoring students.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Julia is passionate about connecting. It relates to her professional and her personal lives. As an example, she loves brining Eastern European point of view on everything to the US, and she loves doing opposite. She bring psychology to strategy, and strategy to psychology. She moves forth and back between upper scale neighborhoods in Brookline and Boston Common to the disadvantaged one in East Boston, and she enjoys learning from both perspectives and connecting these perspectives enormously.
