Jenna Cullinane Hege | Vice Chancellor for Institutional Research and Analytics, Austin Community College

Current Position and Past Experience
Jenna Cullinane Hege is the Vice Chancellor of Institutional Research and Analytics at Austin Community College, a position she has held since March 2020.

Previously, Cullinane Hege served as Deputy Assistant Commissioner for Strategic Planning at the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. She also worked at The University of Texas at Austin as Higher Education Policy Lead for the Charles A. Dana Center and as an Assistant Professor of Practice, where she taught Higher Ed Economics and Finance in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Cullinane Hege earned her Ph. D. in Philosophy from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas in 2014. She also has a Masters in Public Affairs from the same institution, as well as a Bachelor’s in Legal Studies from UC Berkeley.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Away from the office Jenna enjoys spending time with her family (husband, two kids, and dog). The family enjoys traveling near and far, hiking, skiing, listening to live music, exploring new restaurants around Austin, and participating in the kids’ activities. Once the kids are asleep, Jenna enjoys reading and watching documentaries. She volunteers with the Ascender program at ACC which provides mentorship for Latinx students who seek to transfer to a university.
