Christina Hubbard | Director of Strategic Research, EAB

Current Position and Past Experience
Christina Hubbard is a Director with EAB, a research, technology and consulting firm in Washington, DC. There, she conducts research on community college best practices in student success, guided pathways, student onboarding and working with vulnerable student populations. Dr. Hubbard has spent nearly two decades serving adult students in the field of higher education. Prior to joining EAB, she served in a variety of roles at Northern Virginia Community College and gained experience in program management, academic advising, financial aid, online teaching, workforce development, and community engagement. In the first decade of her career, she worked mainly with military and veteran students before transitioning to the community college space.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Christina Hubbard holds a Ph.D. in Education George Mason University, where she published her dissertation on the role of holistic advising on the persistence of low-income adult community college students. She holds a Master of Education in Student Affairs from Regent University and a Certificate in College Counseling from UCLA Extension.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Christina enjoys travelling, hiking, and spending time with her friends and family. Her favorite place is Acadia National Park in Maine, where she gets to do all of her favorite things at once!
