Current Position and Past Experience
Vivian Liu is currently Associate Director of Evaluation at The City University of New York (CUNY) where she leads and supports the evaluation and research related to the K-16, Access and Success, and other programs. Prior to this, she was a Senior Research Assistant for the Community College Research Center at Columbia University and also served as a Quantitative Research Analyst at Communities for Teaching Excellence. Earlier in her career, Liu worked as a Consultant for Teach for America.

Liu has over a decade of experience conducting quantitative research on college and labor market success for underserved populations. Additionally, she has co-authored articles seen in publications like the Economic of Education Review and the Communities for Teaching Excellence.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Liu earned her BA in Economics and Education from Macalester College and her MA in Economics and Education from Columbia University Teachers College. Liu also holds a PhD from Columbia University Teachers College for her work in Education Policy and Social Analysis: Economics and Education.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Liu volunteers her time as a Referee for the Economics of Education Review.
