Current Position and Past Experience
Since 2010, Tom Darling has served as the National Director for Workforce Education at Pearson. In 2015, Tom took over the Career and Technical Education portfolio for the K12 market. This followed five years as the Executive Director of Workforce and Economic Development at Ivy Tech Community College, and seven years as an education/workforce consultant.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Tom earned his B.S. in business administration and management from The Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis in 1990. He went on to earn his MBA, with a focus on marketing, from the University of Dayton in 1995.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Tom has been happily married for 23 years and has three children—a daughter who is a junior in high school and twin boys in seventh grade. His children made for excellent focus groups on K12 education . Additionally, Tom has had many years of classical piano training.
