Sidneyeve Matrix | Associate Professor of Media and Film, Queen’s University

Current Position and Past Experience
Since 2007, Sidneyeve Matrix has been the Queen’s National Scholar and Associate Professor in the Department of Media and Film at Queen’s University. Matrix also teaches in the Queen’s School of Business Executive Development Centre, and at the Rutgers University Center for Management Development. Since 2010, Matrix has served as a Communications Consultant with Matrix Media FX.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Matrix earned her MA in Social and Cultural Theory from the University of Western Ontario in 1997. In 1998, Matrix earned a Gradate Certificate in Humanities from Syracuse University. She earned her PhD in 2002 from the University of Minnesota—Twin Cities. In 2011, Matrix earned the Ontario Undergraduate Student Alliance Award for Excellence in Teaching. In 2013, Matrix was nominated for the Frank Knox Award for Excellence in Teaching.
