Current Position and Past Experience
Michelle Aarons is currently Executive Director of Programs & Partnerships at York University and has been in this position since April 2024; previously, she was Director of Continuing Professional Education. Prior, she was at Ontario Tech University, serving as Director of the Management Development Centre and was the Founding Director of Continuous Learning.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Michelle holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Sociology and Philosophy from the University of Toronto. She also has a Graduate Certificate in Corporate Communications from Seneca College.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Outside of work, Michelle is a wife and mother to two pre-teen/teen girls. As most parents can relate, Michelle spends most of her ‘free time’ supporting the needs of her children. With that said, when time allows, Michelle enjoys innovation and how it can segways into entrepreneurship. She has owned two of her own businesses and has supported and coached others with their own entrepreneurial dreams.
