Current Position and Past Experience
Mercedes Pour currently serves as State Director of Early College Programs for the Maine Community College System. Before moving to her current position, Pour was the Coordinator of Academic Services at the Community College of Vermont, where she was also a faculty member. Pour also served as the Coordinator of Academic Services at the Community College of Vermont. From 2010 to 2011, Pour was the Dean of Studies at the White Mountain School.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Pour earned her B.A. in Anthropology from William and Mary School, and her M.A. in Education Policy from University of Illinois.
