Current Position and Past Experience
Leslie Oster is a Clinical Associate Professor of Law and Director of the Master of Science in Law program at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. Before coming to Northwestern in 2012, Leslie worked in a variety of administrative and academic positions in legal education. She was the Dean of Students at Berkeley’s law school for eleven years, and also held positions as Special Assistant to the Dean at the University of San Diego School of Law and Assistant Dean for Strategic Planning at the University of Texas at Austin. She has taught a variety of skills classes and classes on innovation – as an instructor at UC Hastings, Director of Legal Writing at UC Berkeley, Director of Lawyering Skills at the University of San Diego, a Senior Lecturer at UT-Austin, and in her current position.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Oster holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics and a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Berkeley.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Oster enjoys travel, cooking, stargazing, watching sports of all kinds, and hanging with her dog, Rico Suave.
